NHDMO Volunteers

National History Day in Missouri is powered by the energy and dedication of our volunteers! Whether you are the first person a student sees at the registration table or the judge who talks in detail with them about their project, you can be an integral part of the NHD experience!




For the state contest on April 20, 2013, NHDMO needs volunteers to:

  • Judge
  • Guard doors during judging interviews (plus you get to see the documentaries and performances);
  • Guard exhibit area (closed to public during interviews);
  • Greet and give directions;
  • Set up tables (on April 19);
  • Set up or take down outdoor signs;
  • Help with registration
  • Sell/distribute t-shirts and other NHDMO merchandise.

Not available on contest day? We invite you to volunteer and assist with mailings and compiling packets for our NHD students.
